Director of Live-Stream Technology

Brave Volunteers

The Director of Technology position is now held by a rotating cast of VERY BRAVE VOLUNTEERS!

Hospitality Experts

Paul & Jim

Paul Braymen & Jim Garner are the first smiling faces you'll see when you approach the front door on Sunday morning. They'll greet you, open the door, and provide umbrella coverage -- at your car! -- if it's raining. (And if you need coffee ... they'll do what they can.)

Accompanist

Dr. Arleen Atkins

Dr. Arleen Atkins is a retired Administrator with Weatherford College, and still teaches in the Psychology Department as an Adjunct Instructor. She is a life-long United Methodist and started playing piano for the Church at the age of twelve! She's shared her musical talents in the First UMC of Crawford and the First UMC of Mineral Wells, the latter as the accompanist for the Children's Ministry (how fun!). We are proud she has found her "forever church position" at Annetta UMC.

Accompanist

Bill Braymen

Bill Braymen serves as the Lay Leader for our Church (a very busy job) -- and in his spare time accompanies our Worship on the piano or the keyboard! Bill holds Bachelor and Master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas (Austin) and is retired from Lockheed Martin, where he was Manager of Technology in Flight Sciences.

Chief Flower Officer

Verety Braymen

Verety classifies herself as a grandmother, a retired teacher, and a gardener. We know her as a plant person extraordinaire! She provides the beautiful arrangements that adorn our altar each Sunday. Whether she's choosing from the abundance of Spring or the dearth of winter, Verety creates offerings that remind us of the bounty of God's nature, in all times. (Verety also has a personal greenhouse and has recently decided that 82 different varieties of plants ... are not enough!)

Rev. Dr.

Ann Hitt

Dr. Ann Hitt has served the Annetta UMC since July 1, 2016. She is a second-career pastor who freely admits, "Being a preacher's kid, I got out of the parsonage as fast as I could!" She earned a BBA in Management, with a minor in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington. After working in various positions for Safeway Stores, Inc., she joined the General Services Administration, working in the National Finance Center in Fort Worth. But while the Call of God may be ignored, it can seldom be avoided, and that Call eventually became irresistible for Ann. She earned a Master's of Divinity from Brite Divinity School at TCU and a Doctor of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology at SMU. She has served on various Conference and District Committees and received a Conference-wide award for Outstanding Clergy Leadership, while still a student pastor. During her acceptance speech she said, "I have the best job in the world, and I even get paid for it!"  Twenty plus years later, she still feels that way.

Ann is the Mother of two adult daughters, and Grandmother of three adorable "Littles."
